Frequently Asked Questions

There is a free 30-minute in-home consultation available. You and your pets have a wonderful opportunity to meet me and talk about how much time and care they need. Additionally covered during the discovery consultation:
• A complete description of your pet's specific requirements, including details on usual daily eating, sleeping, and exercise patterns, vet information, and any medications.
• Examining Pet Patrol 365's client and veterinary references, insurance documents, and results of police background checks.
Before booking any of my solutions, everyone must have a discovery consultation. Pet Patrol 365 is unable to care for your animals until this has happened. A free discovery consultation can be scheduled; it won't take long.

Yes, you can read all of the references located on the website in their entirety. Additionally, I can put you in touch with a few of my clients so you may ask them about their experiences utilising my services.
-
I always bring up the matter and make sure I fully understand what you want me to do in the event of an emergency while I am taking care of your pet during the discovery consultation.
This necessitates having an additional contact in addition to the details for the veterinarian where your pet is registered, such as a parent, friend, or neighbour. In an emergency, I'll assess the situation and give you a call to chat.
If I can't get in touch with you and your pet needs medical attention, I'll take them to the designated veterinary practice or, in some situations, the closest one. I've received first aid instruction and experience.

I take security seriously and have several safeguards in place to keep your house and pets safe.
Keys should be given at the discovery consultation for short-term bookings. There will be a fee for each trip if I have to pick up keys at a later time. The keys are returned once any remaining payment is paid and the booking is complete. At the discovery consultation, you can read the full set of terms and conditions.
Regular Bookings: A set of keys will be kept by Pet Patrol 365. It is best to do this in case you are late arriving home or have to leave for an emergency and I need to make additional visits.
Keys are kept in a permanent safe with an electronic combination lock while not in use. The identification codes are kept in a different place, and addresses or phone numbers are never tied to the keys.

For further information on fees, please see the website listing for each specific service. I offer a free discovery consultation in the convenience of your own home, followed by a free estimate that includes all the details you need about the options you choose. Please get in touch with me if you'd like to arrange a discovery consultation.

For The Active Hound Club (other terms and conditions apply). A non-refundable booking fee is required for cat and small animal feeding at the time of booking, which helps reserve the times you've requested I visit and look after your pets. At the discovery consultation, you can read the full terms and conditions.
-
You should email or phone me to verify my availability after your discovery consultation, and if I can help, I will. However, I can't promise to accommodate your needs on short notice, so scheduling in advance is usually advised.

Dogs are walked in a variety of locations across Ashdown Forest in order to make the outings safe, stimulating, and enjoyable. Any company that uses the Ashdown Forest for commercial purposes needs to be licenced. The Conservators of Ashdown Forest have granted me permission and a licence.

Only friendly dogs with no history of aggression toward people or other dogs will be welcomed. To be eligible, every dog goes through a trial period and is put through rigorous temperament, behaviour and training testing. It is essential that the dogs chosen are a perfect fit for the team. I also provide 1:1 training sessions for rapid recall for dog owners and their pets. Please contact me to find out how I may help you.
