As commercial dog walkers, we need to understand the roles, responsibilities and requirements of offering a professional dog walking service.

‘I want to advocate for better working practices within the industry to ensure dog welfare by raising public awareness, and lobbying representatives for improved legislation and codes of practice.’

In addition, commercial dog walkers operating in the Ashdown Forest require a licence which permits an individual to exercise up to six dogs at any one time subject to additional conditions.
